Jane Harris Massage Therapy was established in 1998 by Jane Harris. She qualified at the NZ College of Massage in Auckland, excelling in a Diploma in Sports and Applied Therapies.

At the Jane Harris Massage Therapy Clinic all the massage therapists in the team are fully qualified and committed to high professional standards.

Our Clarkin Road clinic specialises in therapeutic massage services as well as wonderfully relaxing massages that nourish your wellbeing.

When you contact us, we’ll ask a few questions so we can book you in with the massage therapist best suited to your needs. A more detailed discussion at your first visit will give your therapist a thorough understanding of your goals and relevant clinical information. This is part of our commitment to professional standards.

Jane Harris Massage Therapy Clinic is able to recommend and refer clients to other specialist providers, if necessary. These services, such as osteopaths, podiatrists, physiotherapists and acupuncturists, are skilled practitioners who are equally committed to the professional standards of their industry.

My passion for massage was in my veins at an early age, when I was younger I was forever helping my brother with his sore back when he played competitive golf. I went on to complete my training at the NZ College of Massage in Auckland where I excelled in a diploma in Sports and Applied Therapies.

My first job was with the big strapping lads of the Auckland Warriors, then on to the mighty Waikato NPC and Chiefs teams. I now leave the big boys for my younger, stronger girls, and instead specialise in deep tissue/remedial massage for sports performance, dealing with conditions such as sciatica, and stress. I also specialise in pregnancy massage.

I have an amazing team of massage therapists that have a load of passion for what they are doing.

I am confident you will enjoy your experience with us.

Remember never think of massage as a luxury it’s a necessity!

Being a competitive sportsman in my younger years led me to discover the value of good therapeutic massage and a great appreciation for the skills of massage. In my late teens and early 20s I competed in kickboxing with great success.

But it was in my first career, as a car painter, that therapeutic massage really proved its worth. I began to develop curvature of the spine and persistent tightness in my back and hamstrings because of the constant bending involved in the work. Massage resolved the issues and they haven’t recurred. I love that massage is so effective at treating the whole body as well as specific problem areas.

Since Jane and I married I’ve become increasingly fascinated by the results massage can achieve. Jane has encouraged me to learn and I am delighted that she has now included me in her talented team.

I look forward to meeting you.

I have been practicing Massage Therapy for 13yrs, I obtained my Diploma in Remedial and Therapeutic Massage In QLD/Australia where I was living, working and studying for 6years. I have now returned to my home town of Raglan to raise my family.

My skills, knowledge, experience and intuition have enabled me to develop my own unique natural ability to heal people.

I am very passionate about treatment for my clients so they can enjoy having a better quality of life, I specialise in Remedial Massage for treatment of pain, injury, posture & health maintenance. I also do a great Therapeutic Massage for people wanting to de-stress relax and unwind.

The treatments I specialise in are remedial, deep tissue, body balance, sports, accupressure, hot stone & pregnancy.

My name is Jolene and I have the benefit of having over 20 years of experience in the therapy industry. I have had the pleasure of working in a number of England’s leading health resorts, enabling me to benefit in a number of different holistic treatments that range from Swedish, hot stone, body balance, relaxation to deep tissue massage and lymphatic facial and scalp massage.

This is my second time at Jane Harris. I worked here in 2007 while my husband was doing his degree. We then moved back to England to continue with massage and to have our family. In 2015 we are now settling back into New Zealand life.

I take pleasure in seeing my clients benefit through regular massage and this drives me to constantly improve. My aim is to relieve muscle tension, but I strongly believe massage brings so much more. It gives peace and wellbeing to you, a perfect way to download your stress to me. I will attentively listen, and care for your every need.

A great skill as a therapist is to listen. Throughout my training in massage and also raising my children, listening is one of my best assets. With questions directed to you I’ll be using my senses to make your time with me greatly satisfying.

On many occasions while training as a sport/pregnancy/health massage therapist I was invited to massage the NZ 7’s men’s team and also continue to attend other sports events to help athletes with pre event (warm up) their recovery and follow with maintenance.

In my early years my mother was a ballet teacher and model, this was the basis for me about body awareness, balance and posture. Excelling in equestrian events in my early teens was fantastic for fitness and strength. While bringing up kids in Raglan I was involved in a few water sports and learnt lots about healthy nutrition.

I enjoy yoga, animals and exploring our unique environment. To meet people, interact and share ideas are great for learning and brings new knowledge. That’s what inspires me. I look forward to our time together.

I am a Registered Naturopath and Yoga Teacher, practising in Te Mata and Raglan. I have enjoyed working as a massage therapist since 2006. Massage therapy continued to be a valuable part of my naturopathic practice since opening my Raglan based clinic in 2009.

Being very passionate about health and wellbeing I truly enjoy working in my profession. I am looking forward to being part of the team at Jane’s clinic.

The massage techniques I employ are recognized to release toxins, increase circulation and alleviate injury related pain as well as stress related complaints. Deep flowing massage strokes help you to fully relax, reconnect and balance, leaving you with a sense of lightness and rejuvenation. It is a great way of balancing body and mind.

I am looking forward to meeting and treating you!

My name is Scott, I am a Canadian from Winnipeg Manitoba and I’ve been doing massage for about 5 years now. I took my training at Wellington College Remedial Massage Therapy Inc. in Winnipeg. My training was influenced by the osteopathy principles and it took me 3 years to finish. Other training I’ve taken while I was in college were pre and post-event sports massage, palliative care, myofascial release, and cranial/sacral therapy. In my previous massage practice, I have done pre-natal, sports and I can accommodate relaxation massage to help the person feel more at ease.
I studied for my massage diploma 10 years ago whilst in England with ITEC and undertook further study mostly in England whilst travelling overseas. I have just recently returned to New Zealand after extensive travel to me on many adventures, it was living on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus for the past five years I also developed a love for photography. I was fortunate to be able to travel to a myriad of countries, learning aspects of culture and some philosophies along the way.

As I youth I played several sports, leading me on to study agriculture and animal husbandry, and there stems my love for nature, animals and the outdoors that has enabled me to understand that holistic therapy plays an integral part of our daily lives.

Massage brings so many benefits to our wellness and balance.

I have been in the therapy industry for 9 years. I am a qualified Physiotherapist from India and have recently moved to New Zealand. My first job in New Zealand was as a caregiver at a rest home and has taught me a lot. I completed my Graduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Science from WINTEC where I obtained knowledge about Sports injuries and their treatments. I enrolled in some introductory courses at the New Zealand College of Massage which enables me to work as a professional massage therapist. I am very passionate about helping my clients, assessing their specific problems and following with great results through deep flowing strokes and leaving them with the sense of being fully relaxed and rejuvenated. I specialise in relaxation massage, deep tissue and sports massage along with techniques of foot reflexology and head massage.
I have been in the health industry for a while now. I finished my essential training at 2010 and started my own practice in the beginning of 2011 and have been benefiting people since!

My skill set is fairly wide, but I find good results with clients when using Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Techniques, PNF, and some additional sorts of gentle work with the nerve system to give a more deep, yet holistic work on the muscles.

Some background about me ,I arrived in New Zealand at the end of 2015 in order to travel with a focus on hiking which I did a lot of, particularly in the South Island. I eventually ended up staying and working in a large spa in Queenstown for a couple of years.

While in Queenstown I have stumbled upon an opportunity, to work for Jane Harris !
I excited to have been given the opportunity to gain diverse experience with more challenging cases .

I mostly like to work with people who have an active life style, and that do a lot of sports training, and have a fair amount of physical strain on their bodies, or challenging cases of people with chronic conditions ,chronic neck pain , restricted mobility in the body, back pain frozen shoulder syndrome, etc.

I would be more than glad to help you with your challenges.
